Left 4 Dead is one of those fantastic Zombie games which I am playing - but have not reviewed. It falls happily into the category of “So good that I don’t think my review would do it justice” with a select few other Zombie related media.
Saying that, how could I resist bringing to your attention the greatest Left 4 Dead Birthday cake I have ever seen?
Two photo’s of the cake can be found on Ashelia’s Flicker page here and here.
Both pictures are zoomed in quite closely on the Left 4 Dead signature hand logo, it would have been nice to get a more zoomed out picture of the whole cake - but I will take what I can get.
In Perth, Western Australia (my home town) Writer/Producer David Bishop is challenging himself to make the cheapest Indie film ever… that doesn’t suck. To do this, he has turned to the Zombie genre - as many have in his position - and is intending to reimagine the good I am Legend film into one called I am Bish.
You can check out one of the teaser trailers for it above - and more on the web page.
I am Bish is going to be if I am Legend survivor Robert Neville was slightly dumber, less stressed, and living in Perth. Also, Dave is replacing the crazy hairless tribal mutants with good old fashon zombies.
Want to know the best part? He is looking for vollenters to be zombie extras in the movie this month.
That’s right - if you live in Perth you have a chance to dress up as a zombie and do the shuffle for a Indie film. All you need to do if shoot him an email with an attached photo of youself… and hope.
I know I have.
